The immediate area is rural, calm enough to hear the cow bells in a nearby pasture. But being located in a new neighbourhood, there is a real sense of community.

This area has many outdoor activities available-walking, hiking, horseback riding, skiing, tennis, wine tasting, swimming, historical sites to see and much more in the surrounding region.
Village
The nearest village of Collonges Fort l'Ecluses has most of the conveniences for day-to-day living. Post office, schools, pastisserie, butchers, dry cleaners, convenience store, pharmacy, bank with cash machine, bar, bus stop, marie, and there are many more things coming as this area is growing.
Within 5 mintes there is a grocery store, gas station, and car wash.
Within 10 minutes is Val Thoiry shopping centre.
Surrounding area
If you need to commute into any of the many companies or organisations in the Geneva area, this is a very convenient location. Access to the UN, CERN, Procter & Gamble, or any company located in Geneva Centre are easy to get to along routes with little rush-hour traffic. It takes less time to commute from this location than from other seemingly 'closer' villages!
There is also public transport. Locally there is a bus line that runs the entire length of the Pays-de-Gex located only a block away. Poungy-Gare within 5 minutes by car caters to commuters by train or bus into Geneva. And within 15 minutes is Bellegarde train station with regular service to Geneva Cornivan Station, Geneva Airport, TGV to Paris, and other French/International European destinations.
